Environmental risk factor assessment for major respiratory disorders in metropolitan cities of India using VIIRS Suomi Aerosol data and Google Trends

چکیده

This study has investigated the association between amount of atmospheric aerosols and occurrences Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Lung Cancer in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata Bengaluru. Aerosol Optical Thickness (AOT) data Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Google Trends (GT) have been used to acquire information regarding abundance respiratory diseases respectively. The result Granger causality test AOT GT shown that Mumbai Chennai were quite vulnerable three whereas Bengaluru did not display so much vulnerability these ailments. was Asthma but exhibit susceptibility other two diseases. is validated by correlating with Annual Morbidity Delhi. Particulate Matter (diameter ≤ 10 μm) (PM10) validates GT, shows trustworthiness AOT. Thus, this also proves usefulness VIIRS as dependable sources on prevalence respectively, effectiveness a tool analysis health geographic systems (GIS).
